Where Got Ghost?

Today finally watched "Where Got Ghost?" at MBO Cinema. This Singaporean movie is best described as funny, entertaining and tear-jerking at the same time. Being labelled as the new "hor-medy" (horror comedy), "Where Got Ghost?" tells three different stories with three different meanings and moral values. The three short stories, which are apparently the answers to the title's question, are: Roadside Got Ghost, Forest Got Ghost and House Got Ghost.

Of the three segments in this movie, the one that stands out is "Forest got Ghost". The director and his crew actually encountered spooky incidents while shooting this part in the forest. Strange graphics began to appear on their monitor while damages to machines also make up a pretty unforgettable night for the crew.

What is it about?
The first segment, 'Roadside Got Ghost', deals with three swindlers who start a four-digit (4D) telephone gambling scam and charge the winners 20 per cent of their takings. Things get out of hand when they encounter competition and a vengeful spirit.

The second segment, 'Forest Got Ghost' is about two army reservists who take an illegal shortcut during jungle training - and end up in a nightmarish setting.

The third segment, 'House Got Ghost', is an extension of last year's Money No Enough 2. It is set during the lunar seventh month when hungry ghosts are supposed to roam the world of the living. Three siblings find themselves being 'visited' by their late mother's spirit and start blaming her for their financial woes. However, they learn the true meaning of ancestral blessing when they embark on a road trip and...

Today after my CA tutorial class, i drove to tHe Spring with Ling Fei, Lee Feng, Yen Ru, and Sin Choo to watch movie at MBO Cineplex and celebrate Ling Fei's birthday too (going to update it on my next post). Actually, we planned to watch "Where Got Ghost?" but ended up watching "G-Force". So, after Kim Foong, Yee Chyn and Cynthia joined us, we went in. It's the 1st time i went to MBO Cineplex. The surrounding was quite beautiful and nice. There are a lot of people there where mostly were secondary school students as it is holiday time now.

G-Force

The story is about a team of trained secret agent guinea pigs that takes on a mission for the US government. A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire, who plans to taking over the world with household appliances.

Overall, the story line is quite good and funny. I like the soundtracks which were all 2009 hot tracks. The guinea pigs in there was very cute and adorable.

A tired and unlucky day

Today is the 2nd day of school. I'm going to be exhausted every Tuesday as i'm having "marathon" that day. 8.30 till 12.30pm non stop, then break for two hours for lunch then 2.30 till 5.30pm non stop too. Haiz... Don like the timetable this semester. 3 days class ends late. Mon 4.30pm, tue 5.30pm and thurs till 6.30pm. Haiz..

Speaking of unlucky, after finish class at 12.30pm, there was no place for us (8 ppl) to have lunch as all the places (cafeteria, chillipepper and outside dining) were totally full. TOTALLY FULL!! I tin Swinburne should open more places for dining. It is not enough for the student as the number of students are increasing. At last, we ended up having lunch at cafeteria after 1pm. When we wan to order food, many of the food also finished!! There's nothing we can eat except the food from Swinburne cafeteria. When the food come, the portion was so small yet expensive. Haiz.. wat an unlucky day. Guess i have to bring my own food every mon and tue as both days i have class till 12.30pm. If not, going to starve.

Another thing is about CIC class. The class is expected to finish at 5.30pm. However, when it's 5.25pm where the class is almost finish, the lecturer taught one more topic till the class can only be dismissed at 5.45pm. This caused one of my fren missed the bus. Haiz.. Really hate her. Why don't she teach tat topic next week? We already damn tired cos today having "marathon". Haiz.. Hope next lecture won be like this.

New semester starts

New semester starts tomorrow. The pressure will start to increase from this semester onwards as the subjects are getting tougher and tougher compared to previous semesters. I'm also taking more subjects this semester where i'm going to take 5 subjects - corporate accounting, macroeconomics, contract law, eMarketing and careers in the curriculum. Hopes everything goes fine this semester.

Today is the last day of one and a half month holiday and tomorrow a new day starts ahead. From tomorrow onwards, i have to buried myself with books, notes, assignments, and papers besides sacrificing time and sleep to study. Haiz... Really need to work harder this sem but i doubted whether i can achieve my "goal" or not as i keep saying the same thing over and over again each sem but didn't achieve my "goal". Hope i can "achieve" my "goal" this sem.

Now, what did i do during this holiday? Let me list down...

"youtube"ing
doing housework
"facebook"ing
baking cakes and cookies. Cakes like sponge cakes, american chocolate cake, peach cheese cake, chilled yam cheese cake, and oreo yogurt cheese cake.

Found this in one of the Facebook post. It's a student from Swinburne who is the first person be infected by H1N1 influenza in Sarawak. Check this out - Varsity Student In Kuching Positive A (H1N1).

So, is Swinburne now a safe place to go? Is H1N1 spreading in Swinburne? How about the students who are sitting for the exam for the moment? Wearing mask to sit for exam? Hope them will take precautions as precautions is better than cure.

Yipeee!!!~ Finally the "battle" with final exam ends. It's holiday time. Weeeeeeeeee~ So happy. No more books and notes for one and a half month cos it's party time. The moment to celebrate after all the hard works and sacrifing sleeping time in order to prepare for the final exam. I'm going to worry bout my result next month when the result is released. Then, dunno still can celebrate o not after seeing the result. *Sigh* Till then...

Finally, it's time to submit my last assignment of this sem - eBusiness. After all the hard work, sacrificing my revision time and sleeping time to complete all the assignments, it's finally the time to say "sayornara" to assignments. Feel so relieved now. *Phew...*

And now.. It's time to face piles of books, notes and papers.besides putting more effort and hard work in doing revisions as final exam is just around the corner. Final exam is only about 2 weeks from now!!! and i haven't start doing any revision now!!!

Have been very busy lately especially this week. There are so many works need to do, need to submit. Haiz.. Stress level is increasing now. I need to do MDM assignment which is due on Monday, do replies for forum 3 and add new thread for group discussion 3 which is due on Tuesday. Then next Friday, i need to submit eBusiness assignment.

Then my stress level will reach to the maximum as final exam is just around the corner. The provision timetable for final exam is already out. Final exam is less than one month from now and I haven study or revise any subjects yet. Haiz.. Hope i can finish everything faster and start my revision soon.

please give me strength,
and help me manage my time wisely from now on.

This year, the Runner Appreciation Dinner was held at Chicago 7 located at 2nd mile. Unlike last year where we had buffet style, this year we are given a budget of RM 10 per person. We are allowed to order the food we want which is not more than RM 10. :(

First time eating at the party room which is located at 2nd floor.
